Instagram reopened in Turkey after 9 days of closure
Social media platform Instagram has reopened in Turkey after being closed for almost 9 days. It is reported that the country has lifted the ban following the government's instructions. News Reuters.
According to the news, Instagram was shut down on August 2 for ignoring Turkish law and policy and public sensitivity.
A top Turkish official said Instagram was removing posts mourning the death of Hamas leader Ismail Haniya. This is why Instagram was banned.
